Test your Innovation in the NHS!

NHS Test Beds Programme Briefing Event

Date: 21st May 2015

Location:Church House, Westminister, London

Time: 14.30pm-18.00pm

Do you have an innovative health solution that could improve NHS outcomes? Are you looking to collaborate with NHS teams to deliver a rapid, robust evaluation in a real world setting?

On the 26th March, NHS England and the Academic Health Science Networks (AHSNs) invited innovators to express an interest in testing their innovations in the flagship ‘test beds’ initiative.

Test beds will serve as real world sites for evaluating innovations that integrate new technologies with new ways of delivering health services – and that offer the prospect of better care, and better patient experience of care, at lower overall cost.

How to take part:

Attend the briefing event in London on 21st May from 14:30 to 18.00 for an opportunity to learn about the programme and application process.

  • Simon Stevens, Chief Executive of NHS England, will share his vision for test beds and how it fits within the NHS Five Year Forward View.
  • Test beds programme leaders will explain the application process and requirements.
  • NHS leaders from potential test bed sites will dig deeper into their specific challenges and needs.
  • A Q&A session will give innovators an opportunity to ask any questions they have about the programme.

For further information about the programme and to access the application form, please read the test beds prospectus
